The climate of Nova Scotia, but primarily the work of our pioneer rhododendron hybridizers from 1950 to the present day, will be our focus, even a glimpse of what the future might possibly

John Weagle has been gardening in Halifax, Nova Scotia, since childhood. He says his passions were reasonably controlled until a friend introduced him to trees in 1971 -
joys of hybridizing rhododendrons and azaleas. He has been breeding rhododendrons and evergreen azaleas since the late 70’s.
